|Description:||The Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring that the products in the store are merchandised in their correct location, with the necessary pricing information, and within the loss prevention standards communicated. They are vital to ensuring that the customer shopping experience is simple and logical.|
|Duties:||·Executing company merchandising standards on a daily basis.|
·Ensuring all products are placed according to the merchandising guidelines provided.
·Completing daily price changes.
.Optimizing the sales volume and profitability of designated product areas
·Communicating out of stocks and merchandise shortages to store management team.
·Ensuring all demos are functional as needed.
·Walking store product facings daily to verify correct pricing is in place.
·Receiving store PO’s and Distribution Center shipments alongside Merchandising Supervisor.
·Maintaining constant flow of products from receiving area to sales floor to maximize product exposure to customers.
·Executing company ad set as necessary.
·Gathering information relating to the customer reaction to products;
·Reviewing category performances with store management and taking action as necessary.
·Cross merchandising of store.
·Ensuring receiving accuracy to avoid inventory issues.
