Description:The Sales Associate is responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service as per Company standards, generating sales, adhering to merchandising standards, following standard operating procedures (�SOP�), safeguarding company assets, and following a complex series of procedures and systems to qualify and obtain wireless service and product for customers.
Duties:� Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service.
� Work with customers to understand and find the right solution (including the right product and the right service) for their lifestyle needs utilizing solution-centric sales methodology.
� Follow and maintain merchandising standards of the department as per SOP guidelines.
� Maintain an awareness of all promotions and advertisements offered by the company and by the different carriers.
� Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping
� Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock.
� Aid customers in locating merchandise.
� Assist in completing price changes within the department.
� Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
� Compute sales prices, total purchases and receive and process cash or credit payment.
� Participate in all inventory and cycle counts per the direction of the Store manager.
� Watch for and recognize security risks and thefts, and know how to prevent or handle these situations.
� Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires.
� Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
� Describe merchandise and explain use, operation, and care of merchandise to customers.
� Ticket, arrange and display merchandise to promote sales.
� Communicate customer requests to management.
� Negotiates terms of sale and services with customer.
� Perform sales transactions.
� Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:� Retail electronics and/or technology experience a plus.
� HS diploma or GED required.
� Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job.
� Ability to communicate with associates and customers.
� Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation
� Strong problem solving skills.
� Proven ability to be a team player.
� Must be results driven with the motivation in meeting the customer�s needs.
� Able to lift 50 pounds � ladder climbing required.
� Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
� Be able to work a flexible schedule
� Requires the ability to multitask and well work under pressure.
� Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, are required.
� Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
� Must be able to work extended hours as needed.
